Start With Your Bite, Not the Brand
Braces and Invisalign both move teeth with gentle, continuous pressure. The right choice depends on what your bite actually needs, not on which option is trending. That's why every recommendation at Linea starts with photos, a digital scan and an honest conversation.
Some corrections are genuinely easier with brackets. Others fit aligners beautifully. Many cases could finish well with either, and then the decision comes down to your habits, your schedule and your preferences.
Where Braces Shine
Braces work around the clock with no discipline required. They excel at complex movements like rotating teeth, closing large gaps and correcting difficult bites. Modern brackets are smaller and smoother than the ones you remember, and ceramic versions blend into your enamel for a quieter look.
Where Invisalign Shines
Aligners are nearly invisible, removable and gentle on your daily routine. You eat whatever you like, brush and floss normally and skip emergency visits for broken brackets. The trade-off is responsibility: aligners only work while they're on your teeth, about 20 to 22 hours a day.
Cost, Visits and Daily Life
At Linea, both options come as one all-inclusive fee covering records, appliances, visits and retainers, with in-house payment plans and CareCredit available. Braces need adjustment visits every six to eight weeks; aligner check-ins are often shorter and less frequent.
The Honest Answer
For most cases, both work when planned by an orthodontist. Dr. Sarit will tell you plainly if one option would finish faster or better for your bite, and you'll see both against your own smile at a consultation before deciding anything.
